Reptiles In Our Backyards,
Getting to Know Your Neighbors
Presented by: Sally Stein,
Director of Public Programs and Debbie Lotter, Education Coordinator for
National Audubon Society’s Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary
Florida has a great variety and abundance of wildlife. The reptiles we have are diverse and include many
species of lizards, alligators, crocodiles, snakes, turtles and tortoises. They all play a vital role in FL’s ecology. Get to know and learn more about common native and non-native reptiles found in Southwest
Florida and their roles in the environment. Virtually meet some of our live educational outreach reptiles. There will be time for questions during the last half of this program.
