Prerequisite: Participation in a Rising Tide Tour, Kayak Lessons, or prior experience approved by RTE staff.

You’ve already explored your own wild backyard at the Isles of Collier Preserve, and now it’s time to venture out into more beautiful areas of the Rookery Bay Reserve!  Join the biologist guides of Rising Tide Explorers on Sunday, January 16th at 8:30am at Isles of Capri Paddlecraft Park for a paddle in the wild winding mangrove tunnels!  Here we will explore a complex system of shallow mangrove tunnels while searching for unique benthic wildlife like sea stars, urchins, giant marine snails, and more on the shallow mudflats.  Test your knowledge of the estuary as we dive deep into the mangrove ecology of the Rookery Bay Reserve! RSVP required as space is limited. Cost is $55 per person.
